Monday, June 14, 2004: Youth trend not business by the book
June 14, 2004. Youth trend not business by the book: "Sabrina Braden became a business owner in her early 20s when she bought the used clothing store Crazy I’s from her boss.

Braden renamed the business Maude Vintage and embarked on a crash course in running a small business.

She admits that she did some growing up with the business.

'I definitely had to make some lifestyle changes,' said Braden, now 27. 'In the beginning, I was staying up late and going to parties. There would be days that I didn’t open the store, and I didn’t care. It’s a much more professional business now.'

Braden said she’s surprised more people her age don’t go into business, and she said she often encourages other young people to consider it.

'I tell people, ‘You can do this, and you don’t have to go to college,’ ' she said. 'You don’t have to wait years and years to follow your dreams.'"
