Things are changing. I can feel that. I've just turned 23 last Monday, and I realized that I've tried many things in the past years. I started doing compilations of 'good' music when I was 16. I first went to Japan when I was 19, to discover a country that feels like a 'second home'. I was DJing with Fantastic Plastic Machine and Shoichi Kajino when I was 20, which was great fun (they are very nice people, I love them), but very disappointing on a technique level. I'm not a good DJ and I know it, because I'm not interested in mixing house music non stop for 2 hours. I want to surprise people, that's my job. Last year, my 'antimix' album 'I don't like mixing' was my point of view on DJing, and strangely it was my best (limited) success. I remixed one of my 'idol' (not really an idol, let's say he's someone that matters to me) Momus in 2002, and we became friends. Now what's next ? I'm touring Japan. I start to enjoy my own work on music. I still can't say I'm a 'musician' which is a good thing. I have many, many ideas to try. Many people to meet. My dream list of 'people to meet and talk with' is still full. And I keep trying to surprise people.
