It's always the same - the year is over, people ask you 'hey what's your top (5-10-50) for this year?', you try very hard to remember, you do a list, then another one because it's another day etc etc and in the end, the list doesn't reflect exactly what you've been listening to during the year. And as usual, it's during the next year that you realize that you forgot to listen to many essential releases last year.
It's 2004, and because of a massive lack of time I couldn't listen to Robert Wyatt's Cuckooland until now, and of course, it's genius, and of course I'll have to run to the shop tomorrow to buy one or two copies (you're never too sure) of this subtle, delicate, beautiful album.
