Meet you at the atelier.

gathering tools for a new year

I ran from the office to a high speed train just to be on time for a very special event near Lille at Roubaix' La Piscine musee d'art et d'industrie with Mahjoub Ben Bella and friends. Later, in his atelier, I realized that we are almost in february and that pretty soon it will be time to get back to work, things are moving slowly but soon the schedule wil be full of the usual/unusual meetings, projects, ideas, contextes to re-work. I'm adopting a very low profile on what's going to happen (but believe me, things are very exciting), but if you want to see someone with a busy schedule for 2004 you'd better check Momus' own blog, simply called Click Opera: Moscow! Helsinki!! Hong Kong!!! and then? Cuba?

What's cool about this blog is that it's far too clever (for me at least) and it saves a lot of time if you're looking for the latest qui est in / qui est out ideas. You thought you had a brilliant new idea ? forget it ! it's been on Momus' blog for two days already ! I like that :) It belongs to such another league.
Being clever is not really what I do best, even if last week end Malcolm McLaren and I (we) came to the same conclusions regarding the future of music (but that's another story).

One last thing: OK, call me jealous or whatever, BUT I like to think that I could have done a magazine like OK Fred without any problem (need any help, guys?). And yes, I believe that despite its usual suspects kind of contains it's one of the best reason to read a music magazine. Keep up the good work !
