Polypunk sexe
There are always reasons, influences, contexts, people, that could/would explain the tracks selected for Polypunk. Most of the time the selection is a mix of old pieces, tracks that finally fit, make sense, next to something I’ve heard in the elevator, at a restaurant, or something that reminds me of specific time, place, person. I won’t get into details about this episode, I think it’s better to save the why and how for a possible guide to Polypunk (maybe one day), but I will just say that this is possibly the episode where almost each track reminds me perfectly of a certain situation, place, person. And this is maybe the episode where the hardest job was to refuse to use some songs or genres, deliberately , to avoid usual suspects and cliches; this is not easy listening, and maybe this won’t please a lot of people. And that’s the way it is: enjoy. And welcome to 2008.
