Never say never: I once said (last year?) that I would not DJ unless it made sense in term of context / location / purpose. So far this year I DJed once (I had plans to select some music with my partner in crime SoccerBoy in May but ended up being in Europe; another plan with Drag and Drop video club owner Shane L. had to be canceled for the same bad timing reason).

Now I can reveal (tada!) that I will DJ not once, not twice, but three times in the coming ten days.

6/19 (Today) Wut Berlin New knits on the block fashion show / after-party, Tokyo

I am a supporter of Wut Berlin, quite simply the only place in Tokyo to get young Berlin fashion designers. I highly recommend visiting the shop if you are in Tokyo, not only the selection is good in a “edgy not bitchy” kind of way (ie good designs, not pretentious) but the staff is friendly and Yann Le Goec, the shop buyer, is trying to develop designers by stocking full collections instead of just the one piece that would be a sure seller. Honorable, as we say.
Wut will host its first show of new designs for A/W on Friday 6/19 from 19:00 PM and I’ll contribute a soundtrack of carefuly hand-picked sonic fragments.
